Ways To Save Money Weekly

Ways To Save Money Weekly – Are you frugal or spendthrift? Now I save, but it wasn’t always like this. A memory from 10 years ago when we were in debt to the eyeballs and living off check paychecks. Money was scarce and we had no savings. I’ve made a complete change since my divorce. I no longer live on a paycheck to pay a check, pay off a debt, or even have some savings. Last year I bought a house and a car myself. It was a year of financial breakthroughs.

The old me thought saving money was impossible. In retrospect, I see that we made trivial purchases and did not think about it

We spent our money. I rarely eat in restaurants now, but back then we ate out at least once a week. Just changing it saved me a lot of money!

How To Save Money On Minimum Wage (when It Seems Impossible)

Dollars for the entire year. You have a small savings of $1,378 by the end of the year! Last year I did the challenge the traditional way – starting with a small weekly amount and increasing it over the course of the year. But I didn’t like doing it that way. It took too long to see progress. For example, after 12 weeks of the year, I only saved $78. It wasn’t very motivating to continue.

This year I’m doing it the other way around. I start with larger weekly amounts and reduce them throughout the year. For comparison, by week 12 I will save $558! I think it will be more motivating to keep going – it’s a bit like dieting where you lose the most weight in the first week. You see the results and you want to keep doing it because you know whatever you’re doing is working. Same idea here with saving money!

I haven’t decided what I’m going to do with my $1,378 in savings yet. I can use it to buy a new washer and dryer combo or add it to my emergency fund. Maybe you want to go on a trip next winter? It’s a great way to save on them.

It’s up to you whether you physically store the money in a jar or transfer it to a savings account via online banking. I use the online banking method so I don’t have to keep cash at home.

There are so many sites on the internet today with daily deals. Visiting several sites with daily deals can be very overwhelming. Two of my favorites are Groupon and Zulily. Both can join.

I shop at Vons which is a branch of Safeway. They have a great coupon app called “Just for U”. Your grocery store most likely has something similar. Coupons and free offers are loaded into my app every week.

Just go to the app and add coupons. The great thing is that most of the time all the manufacturer coupons you print or cut are the same ones that are loaded in the coupon app.

Over time, the app will start adding offers related to the items you usually buy. My shop offers coupons and special offers on products.

I love it because it’s very rare to find a product coupon. If you’re not using a coupon app from the stores you shop at, I highly recommend you start.
