One of the ones I’ve been considering lately is Pullmantur, a Spanish line with a lot of options. Pullmantur Cruises is a Spanish cruise line that offers cruises to a predominantly Spanish-speaking clientele. Spanish is the main language on the plane, but many staff also speak English. English-speaking visitors who want to immerse themselves in Spanish can enjoy cruises with Pullmantur. The Spanish link is here Pullmantur.es
Another lesser known cruise line is AIDA. Apparently they are owned by some other cruise investors. This is one German cruise line you won’t find on VacationsToGo.
Another lesser known cruise line is the British Thomson Cruise Lines. They are a UK-based line with a variety of ships and options for a predominantly English-speaking clientele. They are affiliated with Thomson Airways and have some great options for veteran cruisers who can fly from the UK.
These are just a few of the options out there if you’re tired of running the Carnival Factory, NCL, cruise lines, or you’re a seasoned cruiser looking for some other options. A word of warning that these can be a bit more adventurous and usually the boats are slightly older boats that they have borrowed from the big boys. Some of these ships are smaller, allowing for unique port calls as well.

I want to tell you about an amazing website we’ve used in the past to find fantastic cruise deals. In fact, for every cruise I find, I start here to make sure they don’t have a cheaper deal. The website is called vacationstogo.com and it is fantastic!!! Let me show you how to find the cheapest cruise deals wherever you want to go.
I have several websites that I look at when booking my next vacation. Google Flights (check out my latest post on this), Trip Advisor and Zoo Travel to name a few, but if traveling to an exotic or wonderful destination is on your mind, then you should check out Vacations to Go! They can offer great deals by buying in bulk and selling at a discount or booking last minute deals on cruises. The website is very simple and has been around for a long time. In fact, you can’t even book online, you have to call to book cruises, which is old school, and I love an old book every once in a while. Agents are great and once you find one, you can call their direct extension and reorder through them. Follow my steps below to navigate your way through the website and book your cruise.
Step 1: Go to tovacationstogo.com and sign in with your email address. Don’t worry. They just send you a few emails each week promoting their weekly deals. I actually enjoy picking them up to see what kind of deals I can get. Then click the button in the upper left corner that shows the 90 days icon. This will bring you to a list of last minute deals that are 90 days or less away.

Step 2: Go ahead and scroll down the list and see if anything stands out to you. They are divided by cruise zones. Ports and destinations will vary. Compare the two prices. The first price listed is the brochure price, the second price listed is the Vacations To Go discounted price. Prices are per person, based on double occupancy, so sometimes if you have four people in a room, you can get it even cheaper per person. See below for some of my deals.
Another cool feature of the site is that once you’re on the top page, you can sort listed cruises by price, sailing date, number of nights, discounted amount, and more. Just click on the headings at the top of the page.
Then there’s the advanced advanced search. This way you will find the cheapest cruise for the year you want to go. Go ahead and scroll down to the bottom of the 90-day ticker. There is a simple search if you want to look for cruises that are not limited to just 90 days, but I like the more advanced search. Click on Custom Search.
I usually set a window of time that I can cruise and a price limit. You can also put in other regions and specifications, but sometimes I want to find the cheapest cruise for the year I can go.

Many cruise lines only include free tea and water, so if you want soda and other drinks, you’ll have to buy an expensive beverage package for one person. So including a beverage package in your cruise purchase is a big deal! Also, remember that all of your meals, entertainment, and accommodations are included in the price of the cruise.
Not sure about a cruise line? Click on the boat name at the top of the page (in blue). It will give you some important information about the ship. Check the ship’s rating and see what facilities the ship has.
