The most rewarding aspect of my job is investing time in building relationships with people. I think this is very important because the society we live in today involves a lot of technology and instant messaging which makes it easy to communicate without having to see each other, but I think it’s much more meaningful when you can take the time to get to know each other and build relationships. For new agents, don’t be afraid to invite other agents to lunch, meet other people in the industry (banks, lawyers, executives, etc.) and don’t be afraid to sit alone in a coffee shop, You’ll never know who you’ll meet!
