Yes. Your host won’t get all the credit, don’t worry. When you set up your portal logins, suppliers will know which agent booked what, and you’ll get the fame you deserve.
There are a few things to consider if you are hosting and looking for travel agent rates. Some providers use what is called an additional phone field. Essentially, this lets providers know which individual agencies (that would be you!) are booking host-accredited rooms.
In short, Maureen Boursi, business analyst at NEST Plus, cautions that in this case, “[consultants] must meet the booking minimum to take advantage of the agent discount, as the seller treats you as their own agency.
