I prefer to stay in older rooms near the breakfast buffet and the beach. They added a rooftop bar and pool in the new tower and renovated the room since my first stay. What hasn’t changed is people. They are simply the best hotel staff in the world. As soon as you enter, you become a family. Attention to detail and unmatched service in every move I make. Great food too. A new Italian restaurant with good pasta and pizza. Truly the best hotel experience. Discovery Shores is my perfect vacation.
Astoria Boracay is small compared to other resorts in port 1. It has colorful rooms ranging from Deluxe to Honeymoon suites. The rooms are not only equipped with the basic hotel amenities but are also non-smoking and certainly not noisy. What makes it even better is that the location is within close proximity to restaurants, bars and of course the beach. Guests can easily avail of their favorite beach and water sports as well as island and cruise offerings.

There is a band that is performed at night and it is nice to swim in the pool which has colored lights. The staff are friendly and the place is very nice. The room is very nice and comfortable.
