Recreation Center Jobs Near Me – The Department of Social Services provides recreation programs and human services to enrich the quality of life for Garden Grove residents and local community organizations. Recreation Center Jobs Near Me
Recreation Specialists work with the Site Coordinator to plan, organize, implement, and supervise daily activities at the summer day camp designed for children ages 5-12 and ages 13-17. Consultants in training. They lead children in games, arts and crafts, and planned recreational activities, and may help supervise children on off-site trips. Day Camp operates Monday-Friday from 6:45 am to 6:15 am.
Newton Recreation Centre
The City operates two (2) Youth and Family Resource Centers. They provide resources, programs and services to youth and families. Recreation Specialists work with site coordinators to plan and organize daily recreational activities for youth, lead children in games, arts and crafts, and possibly accompany children and teens on off-site trips. Assist in monitoring. Youth and Family Resource Centers are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with some evening hours, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as needed.
Atlantis Play Center is a specially themed, enclosed play center for children and their parents. Atlantis Play Center staff are responsible for special events and activities, maintenance of the mini park, and supervision of the snack bar, office, and splash pad area. Atlantis Play Center operates Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30am to 4:30pm. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m
Recreation Specialists are responsible for overseeing and/or keeping scores of youth sports for children in grades K – 8. Recreation specialists oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sports and Recreation Center and its activities and programs, including maintenance and preparation of areas in city parks. Recreation specialists provide friendly customer service, build and maintain good community relations, and ensure that center participants follow established rules and regulations. The gym operates Monday-Sunday from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. – Midnight.

Recipients in both categories of Business Excellence Awards will be announced live at the Chamber’s State and Annual Awards on June 25 at 9 a.m.

City Of San Diego To Host Career, Job Fair This Week
