This program develops swimming strength and efficiency with an emphasis on personal responsibility. Participants will swim 100m in 3 minutes, do a compact jump, perform the egg beater kick (1 min) and endurance swim (200-300m).

Drop In Schedules

Participants will deepen their understanding of safe water rescue through casualty simulation and minor first aid. They will swim 200 m in 6 minutes. Participants will learn to perform a non-contact rescue to improve their ability in the water.

Participants will perform a timed swim of 300 meters (in 9 minutes or less) and resistance training. Water rescue skills include turning and supporting a victim face up in shallow water and a 20m rescue with a tow aid and more advanced first aid skills.

During this class you will be motivated through the movements of a regular fitness class including warm up, cardio, muscle strength, resistance and a refreshing relaxer!
