Jeanty: A lot of the people I work with don’t know me well, but I’m an educator and I’ve been since 2006. My success in education is due to my ability to connect well with students, parents, teachers, and elected officials. As a result, I was able to position myself as a trusted educator and build relationships within my community. After obtaining my license, I quickly began to parallel my previous education work with my real estate career. There are many similarities in effectively communicating and managing expectations among different stakeholders, from parents to students and other educators.
: Do you have a specialty or niche in terms of your real estate work?
Jeanty: I have had the privilege of working with clients who are purchasing multi-family homes in Brooklyn. One of my favorite things about these purchases is that after closing on the property, I can switch gears and focus on renting out and marketing the vacant unit to qualified individuals. This expertise comes from a career transition working for Bozzuto Management Company from 2018 to 2021. During this time, I felt confident in my ability to rent and sell vacant units at such a high and impactful level.
