We hire hundreds of seasonal workers to work in Saskatchewan’s beautiful provincial parks during the summer. Spend your summer working outdoors and making a difference in our parks! Take a look at the different types of positions we offer to see what’s best for you.

Students who apply for this application form may be selected for opportunities to support programming and services provided to visitors at our state parks. Typical positions include porter, park ranger, lifeguard, park maintenance, water safety instructor, or history/nature/museum/gallery interpreter.

Our Central Summer Student Program database contains 11 different application forms that students can submit based on the nature of the summer student job offered by the Government of Saskatchewan. Students may submit one or more application forms depending on their interests, qualifications and experience, and will receive a confirmation email after each application form is submitted.

When a summer student job becomes available, the hiring manager submits a request for students to the Summer Student Program Coordinator. The Summer Student Program Coordinator searches a central database for students who meet the requirements of the position and forwards them to the hiring manager for review.

Our outdoor pools are a great place to spend the summer, meet our wonderful visitors, and work with a diverse group of individuals who appreciate our parks and all they have to offer.

Our campground offices and park entrances rely on individuals with great customer service skills to greet and assist our park visitors with a friendly smile. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, registering campers, selling park passes, and general visitor assistance.

We need qualified maintenance staff, tradesmen and general staff to keep our campsites, picnic areas and beaches in excellent condition. Members of the maintenance team are responsible for the general upkeep of our parks, including grounds and buildings.

Friendly faces helping to run the place! Responsibilities include daytime park patrols, campsite inspections, and ensuring visitors are informed of park rules and programs. If you are interested in patrolling and building public relations, you may be interested in working as a park ranger. Has experience in resource management, environmental law, public relations and outdoor work.
