Prior to her appointment, Sue served as a Senior Advisor and Associate Commissioner at NYC Parks, where she played a leading role in Mayor Bloomberg’s PlaNYC, a plan to increase the city’s sustainability. Sue received her Masters in Public Administration from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. A longtime New Yorker, she and her husband and three children avidly enjoy New York City parks in their daily lives. First featured on the tote bag of the Winter 2017/2018 collection, the ‘New York City Recycles’ and Sanitation Department logo is now printed on the garments alongside the ‘Only NY’ branding. Elsewhere, neon yellow and black hoodies have the NYC signature “DOT” or Department of Transportation and logos on their backs.
