Children love to cut their own things: It makes them mature and gives them the opportunity to practice their still developing motor skills. Make a cooking class a little fun by having them make a toddler-friendly crudité.
All you need is a variety of easy-to-cut fruits and snacks (like peeled bananas, strawberries, string cheese, or cooked carrots) and kid-friendly utensils. Provide them with a cutting board and a nice plate to arrange finger food, add some sauce, and voil.

A Very Toddler Easter
What you need: tempura paint in different colors, paper plates or paint trays, construction paper or butcher block paper, and various toy cars and trucks with different wheels.
Pour a little paint on a paper plate (you don’t need too much) and then have the kids run the car through the paint (they may need your help with this). Once the wheels are good and paint-covered, they can “make a track” by rolling cars and trucks through the paper. Warning: This activity can be very exciting for kids who love cars. Paint on the floor is not only possible, but possible! An old sheet or cardboard underneath might be a good idea.

Or structure-smucture: if you’d rather, let them be free! Put out the materials and watch their little minds go to work creating a masterpiece.

Age-wise and developmentally, toddlers are smack in the middle of learning about the world through their senses, which is why they like to do things like play in the dirt, mush play dough, put bubbles on their heads, and throw glitter…everywhere. Easy Process Art Activities For Kids
You can find easy recipes for these online, but we’ve got some really good options here. You can add in essential oils once the dough is made (a little goes a long way). After that, put down the cookie cutters and rolling pins, and go to town!
Fill the plastic tub with foam, toys, and cups, and you have endless fun for the kids. (And yes, maybe the floor is very wet, so get those towels ready.) Cups and whisks and a big bowl to play with: Just watch them make “bubble pies” and whip up even more suds with the whisk.
What you’ll need: a tub of water, baby soap, plastic baby dolls, pretend dishes, sponges, cloths, and towels.
Beyond playing with bubbles, you can also turn this activity into a lesson in kindness by adding a doll to the “baby bath.” When the baby is good and clean, ask your little helpers to wrap them in a towel, dry their hair, and even prepare them for bed. This is a great way to build positive qualities like empathy.

For the puppet show, cut out animal shapes and objects (easy as bunny ears and stars!) and tape the paper shapes to chopsticks. Children love to see the different sizes and shapes that the shadows make.
Enough said. Just put them in the middle of the living room. You will see. Soon, you may have a house or a rocket ship or a place for a secret tea party with their favorite stuffed critters. (Warning: It may ask for a marker.)
