Disney World And Disneyland Tips For A Magical Vacation
In order to experience the theme parks, Guests will also need to make sure they have a Disney Park reservation. Park reservations must be booked immediately after linking your 2022 vacation in the My Disney Experience app. (So make sure you do that ASAP!)
It should be noted that in 2022, Disney’s Magical Express airport shuttle will no longer be available. Details about the changes can be found here. Transportation options around the area — such as buses, monorails and the Disney Skyliner — will continue to be available to Disney Resort hotel guests.

The Disney app and website is another great tool for planning a Disney World vacation in 2022. I use the Disney website for all the basic information. Especially when it comes to things like park hours, restaurant menus, etc. you can find it all online. The mobile app will also give you an overview of what is happening in real time, such as the waiting time for downloads.
Once you’ve made your reservation, you can link your confirmation number to your Disney account and Disney will make your trip according to your reservation, showing all your hotel reservations, dining reservations, park reservations, and more.

A Disney World vacation is a vacation that includes vacations and park tickets. If you buy both separately it is a “room only” reservation. There is a difference between the two:
If you cancel less than 6 days in advance there is a cancellation fee for the first room rate
Your package will include your vacation and tickets. You’ll also have the option to add other features, such as a meal plan (if available) and a memory maker. If you only have a spare room you can’t add food. However, you can change the reserved room only to the package with room and opening (without ticket) if you want to do so – in that case it will be subject to the same rules regarding the deposit, etc. as mentioned above.

Disney pack guests also receive “magical extras.” You can check the Disney page for the latest, but there are usually discounts and freebies on a variety of things, including free mini golf tickets, discounts at Disney Springs restaurants and shops, and more.
All stays at Disney World resorts, whether a package or room only, receive special benefits such as theme park access, complimentary transportation, discounted magic purchases, and Express+ options (when available).
You may be wondering which one is best for you. I usually advise people to pack for the following reasons:
Registration is open for 2022, and Disney lets you plan your vacation 499 days ahead of time. That means the best part of 2022 is available to book now, and if you’re looking at later in the year you can call your travel agent to discuss how you might be ready to book when your dates become available.
Disney+ Subscribers Can Save On A Walt Disney World Resort Stay
As of this writing, 499 days from today is August 21, 2022. So anyone who wants to go to Disney World between now and July 2022 can start making reservations.
