Josh Flagg is no stranger to success. An original cast member of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” now in its 13th season, Flagg has worked in real estate for 17 years and has sold homes to big names like singer Adam Levine, TV executive Shonda Rhimes. DJ Steve Aoki.

Flagg has a long list of celebrity clients and has sold homes to famous California families such as the Gettys (of art philanthropy fame) and the DeBartolos (of NFL ownership fame). His most notable deals include the sale of socialite Betsy Bloomingdale’s $40 million property in LA’s exclusive Holmby Hills enclave and the similarly priced 1001 North Roxbury Drive property in Beverly Hills earlier this year. A design buff, he has remodeled many homes by architects such as John Wolfe (who built homes for Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn and Bob Hope), Hal Levitt (for stars such as Steven Spielberg, Dean Martin and Lionel Richie). , and Ed Fickett (clients included Irene Dunne, Dick Clark, and Diana Ross).
Flagg leads a team of 10 people, of whom six are agents and four are support staff. He said no two days were the same but attributed much of his success to his rigorous schedule, which runs from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

After the meeting, Flagg’s friend Patty Finkel—a sculptor with a line at luxury furnisher Jean de Marie—stops by her house to see what one of her pieces (recently purchased by Flagg from Jean de Marie) would look like. Flagg’s design partner, interior designer Roxy Sowlaty, then arrives to discuss a furniture-line collaboration inspired by the design of Flagg’s grandmother’s penthouse, which was on the Avenue of the Stars in Los Angeles. The line will be available for sale at several design centers across the country.
Flagg is closed for inspections for an $11 million home on Shadow Hill — an exclusive street in Beverly Hills — that is closing tomorrow.

Flagg makes a quick stop at her home on Beverly Drive to meet with her stylist, Sarah Salter, and go over her outfits for fall and Christmas.
Salter catalogs all of Flagg’s looks so she doesn’t have to think about what to wear, and choosing an outfit is as simple as flipping through a booklet of her favorite picks. Business Insider asked Flagg what his three favorite brands are. He responded to Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci. “Tom Ford fits like a glove,” said Flagg, adding that YSL is an innovative classic and that Gucci is back under the leadership of Alessandro Michele. “Gucci was off the map for years and Alessandro made it relevant again.”
